- our interaction with you as part of our business activities (including promotions and marketing) either through our website, by email, by post (physical mail to your street address) or in person; and

Staying Anonymous
You can browse the website anonymously (although our cookies may identify and use your IP address). If you identify yourself to us, at that point we will collect your personal information, for example if you provide your details to request a call back, we will collect, store and use that information. We may not be able to provide you with some information or services without obtaining some personal information from you.
Collecting Personal Information
At all times we try to only collect the minimum amount of information we need to complete your request, market our services or provide our services. For example, if you request a publication from our website, we will collect your name, email address and/or your postal address, so we can send the information to you. If you purchase a product, we will collect more information about you, as we need this information for billing purposes.
The main way we collect personal information about you is when you give it to us:
- when you contact us (for example you might provide your email address and name)
- when you submit information to the website (for example if you post comments on the website)
- when you ask for access to information we hold about you
- when you use our services or buy products from us
We store your personal information for a longer time period than most businesses would keep records for. We do this because, in some circumstances, we have long term contractual relationships with clients, which means we may need access to original customer information for a longer period than usual after a shed has been built.
Indirect Collection
Other than as disclosed in this policy, we generally only collect information directly from you. We do however sometimes collect business information or farm holding information from public, third-party sources including newspapers and agency or government sites, from referrers and occasionally from list brokers (for example if we purchase contact information lists). It is not our intention to use personal information without consent and we proceed on the basis that consent was given when the third-party source originally collected the information. If you receive marketing or other communication from us and for some reason you had not consented, or if you do not wish to receive any more information from us, please either opt out using the opt out function in our marketing emails, or contact our office and we will remove your email address from our marketing database.
